Alyssa McIntyre started learning how to dance when she was three years old and decided to make it into a career when she was starting to look into colleges. She attended Slippery Rock University to major in Dance and Business Administration. During Alyssa’s time at school she trained with many famous dance companies such as Jump Rhythm Jazz Project and Attack Theater. Alyssa attended the American Dance Festival in the summer of 2012. This is where she studied and learned from artists such as Geri Houlihan, Elisa Clark, Kyle Abraham, Ursula Payne and many more. After graduation, Alyssa moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she has joined smaller dance projects such as Amanda Tarr & Co. This has been her third time performing and choreographing with Exhalations Dance Theater. She works as a full-time ballroom dance instructor in the Pittsburgh area. Alyssa would like to thank her loving parents and friends for always supporting her and coming to watch her dance for the past 21 years.
